My name is Jaimee; I am the designer of Party with a Laser. I love designing and found myself with lots of files that I had made for myself or as gifts for friends. The files did not fit into my other store. These files found a new home on Party with a Laser. I enjoy learning new techniques and helping others which is why I created this website.

Our Story

  • 2016

    In 2016 I was looking to find a Rock Climbing themed gift for my husband Eric, however, I was unable to find anything I liked. A few months later Umbra Climb was born.

  • 2017

    Joined Etsy with our first shop Umbra Climb.

    Joined a maker space

  • 2018

    Launched New products using Laser, Sublimation, and Screen-printing.

  • 2019

  • 2020

    Left the makerspace and bought our own laser. Launched Party with a laser on 11-11-2020

  • 2021

    Launched The Little Ornament Shop

    Did our first Vendor Event for Umbra Climb May 2022

    Did our first Vendor Event for Little Ornament August 2022

    Upgraded to a Mira 9

  • 2023

    Won a Mira 7

    Quit my full time job as an Environmental Engineer and Went full time with the laser

  • 2024

    Bought a UV Printer

  • 2025

    Launched the Podcast Party with a Laser
